Hélio Nascimento

15 years of experience in transformations towards Operational Excellence in multinationals such as Embraco, Alstom and Voith.

During his long career at Voith, he was responsible for the Operations Excellence team, and he also served as OPEX Corporate Regional Manager for South America, and TPM coordinator.

- Leadership in the implementation of new production lines with concept of continuous flow and "one-piece-flow", both at Alstom and Voith, in serial and "make to order“ environments;
- OEE increase project in Voith's machining and generator plant areas, resulting in an 85% increase in the indicator;
- Implementation of SFM (Shop floor Management) in Voith’s operations and administrative areas;
- Introduction of scrum methodology in Engineering and Project Management areas at Voith;
- Conducting short, medium and long term strategic planning using Hoshin Kanri;
- Introduction of PDCA culture through the A3 tool and routine analysis of the biggest quality problems, resulting in 75% reduction in non-quality costs.
