Known as ‘World’s Best Management Consulting Firms’, the ranking was created in partnership with Statista Inc., a global market research company, and is based on the recommendations of thousands of clients and consultants in many countries around the world.
Regardless of whether business is booming or slumping, management consulting firms continue to be in high demand around the world. According to a report by Allied Market Research, the global market for management consulting services will reach more than $800 billion by 2031, almost triple the $300 billion in 2021.
Staufen, a consulting firm that helps corporations around the world achieve process excellence and employee development, has once again been recognized by US magazine Forbes as one of the best management consulting firms in the world.
According to Wilhelm Goschy, CEO of Staufen AG, the company’s good performance for the second year running in the Forbes ranking reflects the growing internationalization of the brand and a diverse set of services that are well adapted to today’s global needs. “Against the backdrop of a complex global situation, characterized by electrification, alternative energies, high defence spending, reshoring and recession, we are especially pleased by the recognition coming from customers and industry experts, as many companies are facing serious challenges today. We help them become more resilient and more efficient in order to achieve their goals,” says Staufen’s CEO.

Staufen is present in Brazil since 2013 through the acquisition of Táktica Consultoria and, since then, the company has more than tripled its turnover in the country. According to Staufen’s managing director in Brazil, Dário Spinola, the consultancy has earned a prominent position in the ranking thanks to its high-quality work and unique approach to working with clients, which guarantees the implementation of strategies and methodologies that bring effective results to companies. “We are honored to receive this award for the second year running, and it encourages us to continue on the path we are on. This Forbes list, which is updated annually, serves as a guide for companies that are looking for a consultancy partner worldwide,” said Spinola.
About the award
To compile this second annual ranking of the world’s best management consulting firms, Forbes – in partnership with Statista – conducted online surveys with clients and senior executives of consulting firms in 15 countries, including the United States, Germany, France, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Brazil and Japan.
The companies were evaluated for their performance in specific sectors (such as health, telecommunications and banking) and functional consulting areas (such as sales, strategy and digital transformation). The consultancies that received the highest number of recommendations were classified into three levels: five stars for “recommended very often”, four stars for “recommended often” and three stars for “recommended”. The final list highlights 229 companies on four continents.
In many sectors, consultancies are hired to help companies with projects such as mapping out a dynamic approach to risk management, updating digital tools and improving cost efficiency. According to Fiona Czerniawska, CEO of Source Global Research, companies recognize that they need outside help. “At the moment, they seem to need it more than ever, because they are struggling with big post-pandemic ambitions,” explains the CEO of Source Global Research, a London-based company that advises consulting and professional services firms.
Digital expertise and proximity to the customer
Last year, Staufen earned a top spot in the Forbes ranking, and in March 2023, brand eins and Statista named Staufen one of the best consulting firms in Germany in their renowned industry study.
For Staufen’s managing director in Brazil, so many recognitions are possible thanks to the consultancy’s holistic approach. “Starting from operational excellence, Staufen’s consultants deliver great and effective results, with the support of technology. For the future, Staufen must continue to rely on the combination of industry experience and digital know-how. We can overcome today’s challenges with this interaction and fulfill our promise to make every company better together,” concludes Dário Spinola.
